Q: 2008 Accord?
Does anyone know where I can look up the 2008 Accord? The only thing I've come across is the concept model and I just got off the phone with Honda who told me that the 2008 Accord is not going to be that concept model. They also told me that Honda won't display photos of the car until it is ready for sale in September. Is this true? If not, is there any website that I can get a sneek peek of the Accord?

A: there are several 'spyshots' of the 2008 Accord Sedan on the web; just Google '2008 Accord spyshots' and you'll get several sights. The 2008 Accord Sedan will not be dramatically different from the 2007--Honda is a very conservative company and they're not going to get too crazy in the redesign of the best selling model. My dealer says the side of the car will have a scupture line similar to the Acura sedans but other than that not much of a change. I've been looking for info on the car as I am interested in the sedan. My dealer says it will be out in September.
The 2008 Coupe will be a dramatic departure from the Accord styling. It is virtually the same car that was shown at the Detroit car show and it is stunning. The difference between the coupe and the sedan will be night and day.
There aren't any full undisguised shots of the 2008 sedan that I've seen, and I've looked everywhere and I have asked everyone at the dealer and no one there has any. Honda is doing a good job of keeping the car under wraps.

A: Try going to the Honda website (http://automobiles.honda.com/tools/build-price/models.aspx) and using their "build" tool to price out your model. Then subtract 12%. This is the number you take to the dealer.
Q: What is the noise from vents in 2008 Accord when the fan is on higher settings?
I have a 2008 Honda Accord LX-P with 15000 miles on it. When the fan is on the higher settings I hear a rattling or a groaning noise from the middle vents. The noise is very annoying. I've had a new fan motor and fan housing put in and it is still making the noise. I've had it in the dealership 3 times and they can't pinpoint the problem. Does anyone know what could be making this annoying noise?
A: if anything has droped down through one of the vents that will cause that too happen,i got one of those once that had a pencil in one of the vents and it would cause a horrible noise to come from it,you may have someting in one of the vents causing this too happen,it will cause a vibration to come from it,good luck with it.
Q: Question about resetting Oil Life on 2008 Accord?
I just bought a used 2008 Accord with 18000 miles on it. The car had full B1 service in September. The oil life indicator is reading 70% but the oil on the dipstick looks pretty dirty. I'd like to replace the oil now so I know that I'm at a good starting point. If I change the oil now and reset the oil life indicator will that affect the timing of other Maintenance Minder indications such as the next B2 service interval?

I've heard that regular and plus are basically the same thing. But plus is just a little more defined. I've heard that Quikstop gas adds water to their gasoline and that Valero and Arco are "cheap," not in regard to prices. I use Arco and I have no problem with it. If it's ok, what are some other gas myths as well?
A: you should probably use 91 or higher, but the car will run fine with regular 87.

A: There's a reason why front wheel drive cars don't typically come with much torque. You'll never get traction if its there. But what i would do is just get a simple chip for it. its not only toque it will add but hp also. and with some you can even program them for better mpg.

Ok what i really need to know is do i have to drill holes in the bumper or is there a mounting bracket behind the bumper from factory? If so does anyone know the correct location of the bracket.
A: If you look under the the front Honda emblem just inside the front air dam below the bumper you should see three holes to mount the bracket.

A: The only way to turn it off is to buckle the seat belt. The newer cars have a anti defeat mechanism that if it senses enough weight in a seat it will ding until its buckled, besides its illegal to not wear one, as dumb as it is. In my state its legal to ride a motorcycle without a helmet, but you still have to wear a seatbelt.

A: If you haven't driven any car before than take the coupe as it is well handled and has the same engine just with different dimensions that shall make you a little easy with the car.
But if you are experienced than take the sedan it looks a more beautiful with better aerodynamics.
