Q: 2007 Mustang?
I heard a rumor that they arent making any 2007 Mustang GT or V6's, only the shelby cobra...can anyone confirm or deny this?

A: I highly doubt that. The mustang made Car & Driver 10 best list in 06. Why would they stop after 40+ years in production and they already put the camaro out of business?

Q: What is the best place to buy 2007 mustang accessories such as hood scoops?
I bought a 2007 mustang a few months ago. Now I'm looking to add stuff to it. I'm thinking about an exhuast tip, pedals, and a hood scoop, maybe a few interior upgrades as well. Actually I've thought about a chrome fuel door and side scoops too, but that will come later. Where is the best place to buy all this stuff? Is it better to go back to the dealer or to buy it all myself? Any advice will help! I'm no expert on cars by the way so it may be hard for me to install some of this stuff. Thanks!!

A: http://www.sfxperformance.com/vehicles/Ford-Mustang.asp or http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.asp?SearchType=Make&N=700+4294908331+4294908282+4294780218+115+4294925242 lots of stuff for your 'stang

Q: (2007 mustang)Is it possible to train tpms sensors without special tools or a visit to dealership?
installed used wheels from another 2007 mustang. now low pressure tire light flashes for a minute or so every time you start car.

A: The Mustang tire pressure sensor is mounted on a band 180 deg of the fill valve. The only way to program is with a special tool. You can buy a tool cheap from a Ford dealer. Ask parts dept for tire pressure training tool for 08 F250. They cost about $15. Ford supplied the tool with all new F250/350 trucks because the front and rear have different tire pressure setting and when you rotate your tires you should reset them to the proper postion on the truck. Hope that helps.

Q: Price to install dual exhaust on a 2007 mustang v6?
Hi, I'm planning on converting my 2007 mustang v6 to dual exhaust and running the Ford Racing Performance Parts Exhaust system. Does anyone know how much it will cost to have this part installed and what it will cost to have my bumper trimmed? Thanks, Joe.

A: Sorry to be off topic; but; I would stay away from the frpp pack just mainly due to the price. theres a ton of forums for mustangs that I could lead you to selling all the compnents used and cheap from modded gt's. I would be looking to do this install myself if I got the kit. I modded my 06 gt myself. It would have been much easier if I had a lift. But I just drove up on some wood in the garage and took my time over a day and a half, just doing little by little and finished. Took off my axlebacks and worked my way up to my stock manifolds. Installed an offroad h, to the factory mids, and finished with the frpp stinger ab's. Tips are a little tricky to get to line up. I had to adjust my midpipe clamps many times and get someone to hols my tips in place while I tightened.

Q: Does a 2007 mustang v6 manual make funny noises?
I today bought a 2007 mustang v6 manual when i got home the car had a smell like the clutch was being rode! it makes funny noises and i was thinking maybe its b.c its brand new and has five miles maybe it just needs to warm up! any advice?

A: oh ya this will come from brakes, clutches. and so on, Shouldn't be a major issue, unless you sit at the lite holding the car with the clutch slightly engaged....... Ask my Brother the cop, he now says it's not a good idea.......He thought it was cool...... no it's hot a hot clutch.. he smoked it!, then brings it to me to fix.... GEEZ family. Enjoy the 'stang, you bought it the right way with a standard

Q: Change a tail light in a 2007 mustang?
I have a 2007 mustang with an out tail light. I tried replacing the bulb but it still wont work. What could be wrong. Its the drivers side rear light bulb.

A: replace the pigtail (connector) or even try a different bulb sometimes bulbs have a nasty habit of just saying "time to commit suicide" and just jump off the shelf and get damaged in the process. P.S. The last little joke was just a joke, sometimes people just dont care and drop stuff it breaks even if it looks good the damage is still done. Happened to me a few times

Q: What forced air induction systems is best for 2007 Mustang GT?
I have a 2007 Mustang GT with no real upgrades except tires. I would like to know which fored-air application would be best. Techco, Saleen, Roush, Vortech, Paxton supercharger? or perhaps a Hellion Turbo? i look forward to pushing to 700-800HP range later on. So i need power that's upgradable.

A: I will give you advice based on what I have personally done and not theories. I owned a 99 GT automatic where I did the basic bolt-ons and then went to a Vortech V2 S-trim. There were no turbo options back then so it was my only choice. It made good power, but was never where I wanted it to be. Finally, a company came out with a turbo kit where they offered a few different turbos. I went with the T-76 turbo because I had the same ideas like yourself. What a world of a difference. Don't worry about lag because exhaust from 8 cylinders will spool it fast enough to shred tires within 20 ft. Thanks to a boost controller, you can adjust it to meet your needs. No pulleys to change. Have fun with it at low boost until you get a built 4.6 and then let it loose. Anyway, my 99 GT ran 10.90s on 93 octane with the T-76 on the stock longblock. It is well documented in the April 02 MM&FF magazine. When on the street, I ran 12 psi and the car would trap 120-122 mph. I can only imagine how fast I would have gone with 3V heads. I blew the engine after about 6 months and trans soon after, but I had a built block waiting on a crate. My advice would be a to get a turbo kit with a T-76 or 80 and it will be more than enough when you are ready to push it to 700-800 hp. Of course you will need to start saving for a built engine, driveline, tuning, while you are having fun on the stock engine. I hope this helps.

Q: Changing from automatic to manual transmission 2007 mustang?
if i want to do this conversion how much is it that i am likely to spend, just in the transmission? and how much for labor? 2007 mustang gt.

A: you are going to spend a lot of money to make the swap happen. it is more than just the transmission, you have to include the bell housing, clutch, clutch linkage, clutch pedal, flywheel, etc. depending on which transmission you want to swap in you are going to spend something on the order of $3000 or so in parts, and figure another $1500-2000 in labor. your better bet would be to sell the automatic car and buy a manual trans car instead.

Q: 2007 mustang interior lights will not turn off?
I have a 2007 mustang that I just bought and I noticed while driving it late today that the two little interior lights on the header will not turn off when I start/drive the car. I'm not sure if this is designed into the car or if something is wrong, I've closed every door on the car including the hood (cause they're the usual suspects for this kind of thing) but they're still on...even now. Is this normal?

A: I sell cars so here it is. First check the switch on the header it reads on/off/door. Turn it to off or door then check it. Second if that don't work, check the fuses. If the lights are supposed to delay for a few minutes after you shut the car doors or cut it off, then the delay fuse could be malfunctioning. Change the fuse or remove it entirely.^^

Q: What would be the best choice for an exhaust system on my 2007 4.0L V6 Mustang?
I just got a 2007 mustang with a 4.0L V6 engine and I really want it to sound like a V8. I want it to sound mean, like a V8. What would be my best choice of exhaust system. I don't care about cost. Thanks, Brandt

A: Borla or Magnaflow I personally think sound the best. I have used both I think both sound very good.

Q: how do you get a ipod nano to work threw a 2007 mustang stereo?
the 2007 mustang stereo that i have says it can play a ipod threw its stereo by using a adapter. but idk where to find one? can anyone help? idk what to look for..

A: go to target, in the back around the video games there will be a bunch of ipods in a isle, go down that isle and the ipod radio adapters should be there

Q: What would the best turbo charger for a 2007 V6 Mustang? (Twin turbo if there is any)?
I have a 2007 Mustang V6 and looking to add a reliable and powerful turbocharger. I'm willing to spend up to $7,000-$8,000. Any kind of information would be great. Thank you.

A: if i were in your position (money to spend), i would get the mrt kit. it's very complete and quality, and would give you about 10% more power than a factory gt. it does use the factory manifolds, but that's good since none of the aftermarket tube headers could withstand turbo heat. it's around $5200 and includes an intercooler. a little spendy, but seemingly good quality. unlike the old 3.8, the 4.0 is a good starting point, and a bit lighter than the old engine. don't listen to people telling you to trade it for a v8!

I'm looking for a set of good fender covers that can be used on a 2007 Mustang GT, however I do not know if they come in sizes to fit the fender or if any will do. Some fender covers come with various logos, pockets for tools and magnets. Any ideas on what to get and where? Thank you

A: Craig's List or Ebay
