Q: How much does it cost to drive 13 miles in a dodge durango?
My iPhone says a job I want is 13.9 miles away and I want to know how much it would cost to drive that far in my dodge durango. And I only work part time because i'm in highschool.

A: Boxing. You should try to dodge just by moving your upper body so you dont lose your footing or lose ground and instead of keeping eye contact like some fighters do you should be looking at thier shoulders area because when thy throw a punch you will see it instantly rather than after it is too late. it is best not to lean back to dodge either because it leaves you in a vulnerable position and off balace. Sometimes blocking isn't an option but with a good stance you wont need to dodge alot, keep your hands up by your face, chin tucked down, and elbows close to the body so instead of having to dodge body shots you can just move your elbow a few inches and they will end up breaking thier hand on your elbow
Q: How can i get my 99 dodge dakota to sound good?
It's a 1999 dodge dakota 3.9L v6 sport 4x4 reg cab the truck has a cold air intake that gives a deeper grumbling sound . I was told to use thrush mufflers but i dont know what those sound like. I want it to sound good and not like a bumble bee. what size pipes should i use? what kind of muffler should i use? and will it sound good without headers?
A: While you can change the sound of the V-6, it will never sound like a V-8. What you can do is just put a flowmaster, or magnaflow muffler on the vehicle. It should make it should a bit better than stock.

Q: Where are people getting the idea that Dodge will ever remove the Viper from production?
My idiotic Ford-loving friends have recently told me that Dodge will be removing my beloved Viper from production. I, however do not believe it's true, and cannot find an internet source to confirm OR deny this. I'd like to know if this rumor is true.

Q: Is Dodge Durango(1998-2003) a good SUV for when it snowing and as a work and family vehicle?

A: the first generation of durangos('98 to '03) were among the best. when equipped with a V8 engine and four wheel drive, durangos seam unstoppable in the snow. the V8 engines offered from '98 to '03 included the 5.2 liter(230 HP),5.9 liter(245 HP),and the 4.7 liter(235 HP). there was also the 3.9 liter V6 that got better fuel mileage than the V8's but would not be sufficient for snow travel. as for a work vehicle,the durango isnt very economical for commuting with a V8 engine. it is definately a great family vehicle with the ability to carry 7 people with a decent sized cargo area in the back. hope this helps. good luck to ya

Would Dodge Dakota drop spindals work on a 1984 dodge ram pickup??? I read in a article that some had done it but wasnt sure if they had to modify or just simply replace the factory spindles. does the suspention up front match up with each other?
A: no the ram and the dakota have two totally different suspensions under them,the ram is considered to be a full size truck while the dakota is a mid sized truck, good luck.

What type of Tranmission fluids is good for a 2000 Dodge Durango? I doing "NOT A FLUSH" I changing the gasket and the filter on the tranmission b/c is time already! The truck is not leaking from the gasket but the seal on the tranmission is broke is leaking tranny oil! I would Like to know if any tranmission fluids or gasket witch one is reccomended for Dodge? Where should I buy the filter and gasket at the dealership?
A: Dodge calls for ATF+4. you can substitute dextron III only as a temporary solution. The permanant use of any transmission fluid that does not meet the ATF+4 specifications will cause an early failure of the transmission, I would recommend to find ATF+4 and save the hassle of trying other fluids. As far as filters go the ones available at NAPA or any other part store are good quality, keep in mind this transmission may have 2 filters in it, a traditional filter and a spin on one.
Q: How to get in touch with a Dodge zone manager?
I have a warranty service issue with a Dodge dealer. I've asked to be put in contact with the zone manager but they have refused that request. The Chrysler "help" line number also refuses to initiate a case number. My car is not fixed and I've paid them an extraordinary amount of money. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A: customers can not contact a district manager. customer assistance, however, should have halped you. what is your issue? if you have repeated failed attempts at fixing a problem, customer assistance will open a CAIR. (customer assistance inquiry request) the dealer will be contacted by chrysler and will then be invoved in getting your problem fixed, or you can go to another dealer. if you let us know what your problem is, maybe we can help you.

My dodge intrepid 2002, ran out of oil and as suggested by someone on yahoo! answers, the engine must have locked. A mechanic earlier said i'd need to replace the engine, but if the engine really is locked in the vehicle, what do i need to do?
A: He didn't mean it was literally locked in the engine compartment. Vapor lock is a problem that mostly affects gasoline-fuelled internal combustion engines. It occurs when the liquid fuel changes state from liquid to gas while still in the fuel delivery system. This disrupts the operation of the fuel pump, causing loss of feed pressure to the carburetor or fuel injection system, resulting in transient loss of power or complete stalling. Restarting the engine from this state may be difficult. The fuel can vaporise due to being heated by the engine, by the local climate or due to a lower boiling point at high altitude. In regions where higher volatility fuels are used during the winter to improve the starting of the engine, the use of "winter" fuels during the summer can cause vapor lock to occur more readily.
That's a term that means "Vapor Lock"!
Q: How to power down or reset a dodge radio/CD changer, CD is stuck?
I have a 2004 Dodge Stratus with radio/4 disc CD changer. I have 3 CD's in the player that won't come eject. I tried to disconnect the battery termial to power down the radio, but it didn't do it. Any idea's on how to power the radio down or getting the CD's out?

My 2001 dodge 3500 diesel is leaking radiator fluid from the front of the engine. All hoses are secured and all seems normal except fluid draining from the front of my engine. Any ideas?
A: the water pump bolts to the front ofthe block with 2 10mm bolts. It is to the right of the cooling fan drive pulley. It is most likely leaking. There is also an O ring on the piece that connects the lower hose to the engine block, located behind the A/C compressor. These leak but not nearly as much as the water pump.
Q: Why does the fuel pump on a 93 dodge grand caravan keep failing?
My dad has a 1993 dodge grand caravan 3.3 liter we have replace the filter and the pump twice now. Once with an Airtex pump and once with a carter pump but both failed very quickly. The Airtex failed within in 3 weeks, the carter failed in about 3 months. I was just wondering if anything else could be causing this we cleaned the tank out very well and checked the lines. I would appreciate the help.
A: i been through the same thing on one,a bad ground wire will cause it to fail because it works off constant variable voltage,and if the ground fails it cuts the flow rate down and also reduces the amount of voltage applied to it,once this happens the pump either over heats because it cant get enough voltage or it damages the relay unit,it would be better and cheaper if it would burn the relays out ,but it wont always do that, it gets the pump instead of the relay unit,try checking the ground wire real good on it and use a good pump,and verify that the voltage supply is correct to it when the key is switched off and on,if its low recheck the ground again,bad ground wires is the most common cause of pump failure and replacing pumps can be really expensive after a while,good luck on it,if you need more help with it i,ll be around sometime,good luck.
