Chrysler made the Laser, and they stopped in the early 90's
Sunfire is a decent small car, I see a lot of them still on the road today.
It shouldn't be hard to find parts. Very common cars. Any automotive shop (pep boys, or autozone) should have them

I have a 1986 Chevrolet Caprice 4 door, Box style. It has the stock 305 in it, and just about everything else is stock. I'm looking for gradual upgrades I could make, I can't afford a engine or tranny swap, so I was wondering what little upgrades could I make to increase the speed and acceleration? Gears? what Gear Ratio? Intake? Etc. Etc. Please tell me all the things you can think of that I could upgrade in this car to increase performance in the speed and acceleration areas. thank you

My 1991 Chevrolet Camaro is too low to the ground (bought it that way) and certain spots in the road catch my bumper and scrape the paint off. I do not need a new bumper because of the paint, I need it because my present bumper is cracked... I also need a grille because mine has been completely destroyed...

A: Car is over 10 years old, so Chevy is not obligated to provide replacement parts anymore.
Check your local auto salvage yard. They should be able to hook you up. They network together to distribute parts nationwide.

I have a 1995 Chevrolet K1500 Silverado 4x4 that I can not get the brake lights to work on. I could rig up a wire from the brake switch above the brake pedal to the battery but I want to fix it the right way.
A: You should pull the brake light apart & check the circuit board where your bulbs plug in. They were famous for corroding, you can try spraying the circuit if you do see signs of moisture.

It's a 1974 Chevrolet Cheyenne Super (K10) regular cab, longbed with a 4 inch lift and 35 inch mud terrain tires. It has 3/4 ton (stronger) axles, a 350 v-8 with around 225 hp and is worth about $2500 but was purchased for $1500. I live in Vancouver Washington and am a male at age 16. I just need an estimate for liability only insurance.

A: Depends on your credit score, driving record, the household members driving records, waht you're going to do with it, and limits of coverage. Purchase price is irrelevant - the insurance isn't going to cover anything that happens to the truck, if you're buying "liabiltiy only".
I'd "estimate" with spotless household driving records, about $2,000 - $3,000 a year.

The struts that hold up the rear hatch door on my 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe are shot. How do I replace them, and where can I find replacement struts at a reasonable price?
A: the struts are held in place by a "ball and socket". They should just pop off with a pair of bent needle nose pliers. They will also press on with a little force. Please be careful though, because even when they are worn they have a lot of pressure and will spring out. As far as I know, either the junk yard or the dealership can help you with the parts. I am not sure if anyone carries them aftermarket yet, but you could try jc whitney or lmc truck parts.

Im getting my license in a couple yrs. and i want to get a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS hardtop in bad condition so i can work on it how much would one cost. It has to be in bad condition but good enought to drive.
A: Consider this, the '70 SS has become a collector item. therefore, they are inflated in cost, even if they are in 'bad condition'. I would suggest you look at other alternatives. The mid-70 camaro can often be purchased for a lot less money, and they can be just as easy to work on. They also have better brakes, and their parts are similar to the chevelle. The 71 or 72 chevelle is the same basic car as the 70, and they can be a lot cheaper to buy, and they clean up nice. What you are talking about doing may be coming to an end. $4.00 gas, is quickly doing away with the fun and games of hot rodding. You may want to consider the the tuners, honda and toyota, at least they are cheaper to use. good luck and be safe.
